AGREEMENT – terms and conditions described in the present document.

COMPANY – Liulingo.

CLIENT – a person getting tutoring services via Liulingo as well as a person who got in touch with Liulingo and / or registered an account with Liulingo for the purpose of getting tutoring services in future.

TUTORING SERVICES – a range of services provided by the Company in general and by each Tutor in particular, aiming to enhance the Client’s fluency in a specific language. Tutoring services may include, but are not limited to: 

  • free talk in a given language on various subjects
  • teaching a language (grammar, vocabulary, etc.)
  • teaching academic writing
  • preparation for certification (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)

TUTOR – a person providing tutoring services for the clients of Liulingo, as well as a person approached by Liulingo, who potentially considers to provide tutoring services in future.

The terms and conditions described in the present document constitute the agreement (contract) between Company and Tutor.

As a Tutor, you automatically agree to fully accept the present agreement whenever you login to your account on Liulingo and / or or whenever you conduct classes for the purpose of Liulingo and its customers via any online communication service (Liulingo classroom, Skype, Wechat, etc.)

Qualification Process

To preserve the supreme quality and reliability of our services and to ensure the safety of all our users, every person eager to join Liulingo as a Tutor will be required to go through a qualification process that includes the following simple steps:

  • Application Form
    Information on your background, education, work experience, certifications and other relevant qualifications with respect to your planned tutoring service. You will also be required to provide your contact details: email address, skype id, mobile phone number.
  • Short interview

Our coordinator will get in touch with you to agree on a suitable time for the interview. It will last for 10-15 mins and will be arranged in a form of video-call via our online classroom. You will get a link in advance. Make sure to test your equipment beforehand. During the interview you will be able to discuss the approximate schedule as well as financial conditions and any other questions you might have.

Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or decline the application for any reason as well as to suspend or terminate cooperation with Tutor.

Tutor-Student Communication,
Solicitation and Disclosure of Personal Information

Tutor should not undertake any actions with the purpose of revealing any personal information (such as full birth date, ID number, email address, phone number, home address, social network profile) to any Client on Liulingo. Tutor should not obtain any personal information from Client. In separate cases, Company might provide the contact information of Client (eg. skype ID) to Tutor for the purpose of conducting class outside the Liulingo online classroom. In any case, Tutor should not undertake any attempts to agree on the classes with Client independently from Liulingo. Tutor should not disclose to Client the commercial details of cooperation with Liulingo (such as rate per class) or solicit such information from the Client. Violation of these conditions will result in a fine in the amount of 10 class rates.


Tutor’s fee per class is agreed in advance, during the qualification interview.

The payment for the conducted classes will be transferred to Tutor’s Paypal or Skrill account twice a month. Payment for the classes conducted from 1st to 15th of a given month will be effected on 17th – 18th of the same month; payment for the classes conducted from 16th to 31st of a given month will be effected on the 2nd – 3rd of the following month.

Liulingo teachers are independent contractors and responsible for their own taxes in accordance with their individual tax jurisdictions or state laws.
